2004 Recognition Event

In 2004, Ellie Banyai coordinated efforts to have a volunteer luncheon in September. Local author Debbie Taylor was the special guest. She talked about becoming a writer and read her children’s book “Sweet Music of Harlem” which describes a famous event in the 1950’s when many jazz musicians came together in Harlem for a photograph.
