In the heart of historic downtown Ypsilanti District Library

The Book Nook has used books for sale on a cart in the lobby. Payment is on the honor system. New books are added two times a week.

Hardcovers - $1.00 / Paperbacks - $.25 / Oversize paperbacks - $.50

Members only preview sale:Thursday from 6-8pm (membership may be purchased at the door)

Regular sale hours:
Friday from 11am to 5pm
Saturday from 11am to 3pm
Sunday from 1pm to 3pm

During these weekends the Friends put their overstocked books and special finds on sale at YDL-Whittaker Road, 5577 Whittaker Road in the Community Meeting Room. Buyers on Sunday may purchase a bag full of books for $3 and special books are reduced in price. All proceeds from the Friends book sales whether at these mega sales or at the Friends Shop are donated to the library to support programs for kids and adults, purchase special equipment, and underwrite the newsletter.
