Volunteering

Volunteers are encouraged to contact the library to get involved in helping staff carry out our mission of providing access to library services for the people within our district to meet their educational, informational and recreational needs. There are many different types of services that volunteers can provide for YDL

• Book cleaning, moving or processing
• Program preparation for craft and story times
• Deliver books to homebound patrons
• Friends Shop helper or book sale volunteer
• Customer service desk greeter
