The Ypsilanti District Library is hosting a visit with world-renowned author Alexander McCall Smith. A visit by this bestselling author of the much-loved No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series is an extraordinary way to celebrate National Library Week (April 13-19)! We are fortunate, too, to host this visit right on the heels of the publication of the ninth title in his No. 1 Ladies series – The Miracle at Speedy Motors. McCall Smith’s appearance, supported by the Ypsilanti Office of the Bank of Ann Arbor and the Friends of the Ypsilanti District Library, will include a lecture at EMU’s Pease Auditorium on Saturday, April 19 followed by a book signing.
