    • Teams can range in size from 4 – 6 people. Each team will be assigned a name and a table at the start of the competition.
    • Once a player has left the competition, they will not be allowed to rejoin their team until the completion of the current round of questions.
    • For every round, teams will be provided with an answer sheet where they will record their answers. Each of the ten questions in each round will be read twice. At the end of each round, teams will be given five minutes for discussion, to finalize their answers, and turn in their sheets to the YDL judges.

    • More than one answer per question will be scored as incorrect.
    • The YDL judges have the final say on any disputed answers.
    • Answer sheets will be collected after every round and scored. Each correct answer will receive one point. The maximum number of points a team can earn per round is 10. The maximum number of points a team can earn for the competition is 70.
    • Judges will post team scores for all to see at the end of each round.
    • There will be two intermissions: one after Round 4; one after Round 7.
    • There is no polling the audience. Resource materials and electronic devices (cell phones, computers, etc.) are prohibited. If you need to use your cell phone to make a call, you are asked to leave the room and will not be permitted re-entry until the end of that round.
