How to configure your TCP/IP Settings

Open the network control panel for your operating system, and set the corresponding option listed below for your TCP/IP connection. With most Windows systems, you can click on TCP/IP and click Properties to access TCP/IP options. Refer to the Windows Help program if you need help finding this option.

Windows 2000:

• On the Start menu, select Control Panel.
• Select Network Connections, then right click
• Wireless Network Connection.
• Select Internet Control Protocol(TCP/IP) and click Properties.
• Select Obtain IP Address Automatically and make sure Obtain DNS Settings Automatically is also selected.

Windows XP:

• On the Start menu, select Control Panel.
• Select Network Connections, then right click Wireless Network Connection.
• Select Internet Control Protocol(TCP/IP) and click Properties.
• Select Obtain IP Address Automatically and make sure Obtain DNS Settings Automatically is also selected.

Windows 98/ME:

• On the Start menu, select Control Panel.
• Select Network, then the Configuration tab.
• Select Obtain IP Address Automatically, then select Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically.
• For ME, select Server- assigned IP Address, then select Server-assigned Name Server Addresses.
