What is MyLibraryDV? MyLibraryDV is a video-on-demand service created by Recorded Books that is available to YDL cardholders. Download hundreds of movies, miniseries, and programs onto your home computer.
- 24/7 access to 1,000+ titles.
- Programs include cooking shows such as America’s Test Kitchen, travel series like Globe Trekker, and how-to programs such as Antiques Roadshow.
- MyLibraryDV also includes the Hollywood Favorites and World Cinema package, with more than 500 feature films, TV movies, and TV miniseries released from the 1930s through the 1990s.
- Check out up to 10 titles at a time, with a 7-day check-out period.
- High speed internet access at home.
- Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP4) or XP (SP2) or Vista.
- Macintosh computers must have an Intel processor and software that enables you to switch back and forth between the Mac operating systems and Windows, where you will download and install the MyLibraryDV Download Manager.
- The most recent version of your browser (Firefox and Internet Explorer provide optimal results).
- Minimum 1GB free space on your hard drive.
- 1GHz processor or greater.
- Flash Player 9 and Windows Media Player 10 or above with the most recent security update; you’ll be alerted to any necessary Player upgrades needed.
- Installation of the MyLibraryDV Download Manager.
- YDL library card and PIN number.
- If you are ready to download a video or want to learn more from the MyLibraryDV website, click here to enter your library card and PIN numbers, then click on MyLibraryDV in the Authorized Links list.
- When at the MyLibraryDV website click Help for more information.
- Ask to see a list of available titles at any YDL reference desk, along with other printed materials.
