Databases

The Ypsilanti District Library provides access to a wide variety of databases, including full text magazine and newspaper databases and resources that concern specific subject areas such as business, health, education, computers, genealogy, and literature. All are available from within the library, and most can be accessed by YDL cardholders from outside the library as well.

To use these databases from within the library, click on In Library Databases at the right. To use the databases from outside the library, click on Outside the Library Databases. When using databases from outside the library you will be required to enter your library card number (the number directly under the barcode on the back of your library card) and your pin number. Your pin number is the last 4 digits of your phone number unless you have provided the library with a different number.

You can also access many of these databases from outside the library with a valid Michigan driver's license or state I.D. number at Michigan eLibrary.
