eAudiobooks from NetLibrary
What are eAudiobooks? eAudiobooks are digital versions of unabridged audiobooks, provided by NetLibrary and Recorded Books, available via the internet. For information from NetLibrary's website click here. Note: Beginning Nov. 1, 2009, the Pimsleur Language series will no longer be part of our eAudiobook subscription. In addition, 400 titles by publisher Simon & Schuster will no longer be available. These include authors such as Dan Brown, Sandra Brown, Stephen King, David McCullough, Jeffery Deaver, and Kathy Reichs. These changes are due to licensing agreements between Simon & Schuster and Recorded Books. We regret losing these popular titles, and are investigating other eAudiobook options available to us.

If you do not use Media Center and instead download from the NetLibrary website you’ll need to relocate the file to the iPod yourself. For more information on using iPods click here. Titles displayed in any type of search, such as author, title, or keyword, include a format icon (MP3 or WMA) to indicate device compatibility. A portable audio device that supports playback of protected WMA files is needed to listen to titles in WMA format. MP3-format titles can be listened to on devices that support WMA files as well.
