Teen Advisory Group (TAG)

The mission of the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is to inspire creative youth-driven opportunities for Ypsilanti Area teens by building meaningful connections at the library and in the broader community.

We focus on developing teen leadership skills using the Youth Driven Space model. Advisory members volunteer at kids’ library programs, design teen programs, spaces, and toolkits, produce an annual teen summer stage, write grants, make presentations to other youth organizations, and more!

All high school students interested in making a difference in the Ypsi community and having a voice at the library are encouraged to apply using the form below or stop by a library to learn more.

Build your resume, get volunteer hours and recommendations for jobs and college, meet new friends, be heard!
