Teen Film Fest

Calling all teen filmmakers! Enter your film in the second ever YDL Teen Film Fest. Awards will be given to the best film, director, actor, and actress. Films will be reviewed by a jury consisting of YDL staff, and selected community members on content, artistic and technical merit, and creativity.

All films are due by Monday, March 2, 2009, by 8pm. Film entries can be dropped off at any YDL location.

Categories and prizes (in gift certificate form):
Best Film: $50
Best Direction: $25
Best Actor: $25
Best Actress: $25

Official Rules

• Contest open to teens ages 13-18.
• Groups of 1 to 5 teens may work on one film.
  
• Adults may appear in the film, but should have no other responsibilities in the production of the film.
• Films can be no longer than 20 minutes.
• Any copyrighted material (music, movie clips, etc.) used in the film must be credited.
• Each teen or group of teens can submit one film.
• Films must be submitted in DVD format.
• If your film is chosen as a winner or one of the films to be shown at the premiere, you will be contacted by Thursday, March 5, 2009.
• Not all films will be screened at the premiere on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 3pm.
• Films will not be returned.
