Opening Our Hearts Through Writing – Celebrating African American Women Poets

Saturday, February 13 | 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Sign with word CreativityJoin us for a morning session featuring reading, reflection, and writing. In this workshop we will consider how all of us as writers can make a difference in our communities and our world through our creative expression. Through the reading and contemplation of African American women’s poetry we will learn how to listen more deeply to our own voices and to the voices of others. We will then practice using our writing as a tool to expand our collective hearts and minds.

Presented in partnership with YpsiWrites, for both adults and teens.

Register below or call 734-482-4110 x2411. We’ll send you the Zoom link a few days before the event.
