While we aren’t able to make in-person visits, invite a library representative to visit your class or learning community online.
Classroom Visits
Storytimes, booktalks about the hottest new titles, details about fun learning activities in our Summer Challenge, and demonstrations on how to use the library’s online resources for projects—these are just a few examples of topics we can cover with your students.
Staff Meetings
Have 5 or 10 minutes to spare in a staff meeting? We will pop in and give your staff more information about specific services that are relevant to your staff or the people you serve. We discuss specific ways the library might support your organization’s goals and what library programs might be relevant to the students you serve.
For organizations or businesses in the library district, including all Ypsilanti and Lincoln schools, all employees are eligible for a library card—let us tell your staff about the unexpected benefits of a YDL card!
Library Outreach visits are offered based on staff availability, with priority given to schools and nonprofit organizations within our service area. Questions? Please contact Mary Garboden, Head of Outreach Services at 734-482-4110 x1316 or garboden@ypsilibrary.org.
