As a public agency, YDL is committed to making clear, transparent financial information available to the taxpayers and donors who support the library. Annual Reports also highlight the library’s key accomplishments over the year, and offer insight into the stories of the patrons and staff that are the heart of the library.

Current Annual Report: 2022

Our 2022 Annual Report highlights how we built a new branch, went fine free, introduced exciting new collection items, and eliminated some of the barriers that some people were experiencing by going fine free.

2022 Highlights include:
  • Going fine free and removing barriers to access.
  • Opening the new Superior branch and our Book Brigade: Showing how much it was needed and how invested our community was in the new facility.
  • Upgrades to the downtown branch thanks to some generous estate gifts.
  • Introducing our new Library of Things Collection that has games, tech, tools, fitness items, and more that you can check out with your library card.
