The Friends of the Ypsilanti District Library is a membership-based organization that raises more than $30,000 each year to support the library. The Friends’ support makes popular library programs possible such as the Summer Challenge, touring exhibits, and the library newsletter, The Loop.
The mission of the Friends of the Ypsilanti District Library is to stimulate community interest in the library, to provide financial assistance for the improvement of library services, and to work for the expansion of library facilities.
