Have you ever browsed our kids’ magazine collection or checked one out to take home? There is a place near the entrance of each Youth Department where you can find the latest issues you can read at the library. Lift up the shelf and you’ll find a hidden stash of issues from previous months you can check out!

Here are a few of our favorites. Many received a Parents’ Choice Award or were featured in School Library Journal.

Ask Magazine is published nine times a year for kids with curious minds, to spark your interest in science, history, and the arts.

Beanz is a bi-monthly online and print magazine about learning to code, computer science, and how we use technology in our daily lives.

Chop Chop is an award winning quarterly cooking magazine for kids, full of great recipes you can try at home.

Kazoo is a new kind of quarterly print magazine for girls, ages 5 to 10—one that celebrates them for being strong, smart, fierce and, above all, true to themselves.

Muse is a science and arts magazine that’s full of facts and off the wall jokes. If you can’t help wondering whether video games really kill your brain cells, or what a gentleman ladybug is called, will find the answers here.
