Two great ways to support YDL by doing your regular shopping
If you shop at Kroger or on Amazon, your purchases could be generating donations to your Library. YDL is a part of the Kroger Rewards and AmazonSmile programs, which means Kroger and Amazon will donate a portion of eligible purchases to the organization of your choice. Just make YDL your preferred organization and your future shopping can benefit your community! Signing up with Kroger Community Rewards
If you have a Kroger Rewards card, just visit the Kroger Community Rewards page to set up your account. Click on the link under “Are you a customer looking to Enroll” and follow the instructions to create your profile. Once your profile is created, on your profile page, click on Community Rewards:
Then, search for Ypsilanti District Library (organization #GY040) in the Find an organization search bar:
Once you’ve selected us as your organization, every time you use your Kroger Rewards Card, a percentage of eligible purchases will be sent to YDL!
Signing up with AmazonSmile
Visit Smile.Amazon.com and follow the instructions to create your AmazonSmile account. Once your account is created, under the dropdown menu beneath your name, click “Your AmazonSmile.”
Once you’re there, click the button to choose your charity, and search for Ypsilanti District Library. Then click to add us as your designated organization. Then, do your shopping at Smile.Amazon.com (same prices and selection as Amazon). Amazon will then donate a portion of all eligible purchases to YDL!
