YDL-Whittaker hosted a field journal activity and a color observation activity on Friday, July 22. Using the provided supplies, children were able to create their own field journal to record their observations in nature. Customized prompts and guiding questions were provided to help give participants more opportunities for at-home discovery. Children were also able to partake in the color observation activity, where they matched items they saw in nature to the colors on their paper.
