Our awards program presents more than $22,000 in cash and film stock/services to filmmakers. Oct. 27: Join Bill Wells for Sandhill Crane film and tour On Sunday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m., join local expert Bill Wells, who will show a film about Sandhill Cranes and then lead a driving tour to view them around the Waterloo Recreation Area at the Eddy Discovery Center. Visitors can expect to see large flocks of these magnificent birds at close range. Bring binoculars and cameras. The cost is $2 per person or $5 for a family. The Gerald E. Eddy Discovery Center is located at 17030 Bush Road in Sylvan Township.
