500 Books Before Middle School
Did you finish reading or listening to 1,000 books before kindergarten and want to keep tracking how many books you read? Maybe you never knew about 1,000 BBK until you already started school and felt that you missed being on the library’s Wall of Fame!
Now is your chance. Use our tracker kit and see if you can read 500 books before you start middle school.
Pick up a kit at any YDL library to track your reading at home. When you finish, you’ll get your photo added to our Wall of Fame, plus you’ll get a certificate to note your accomplishment, a gift card for free pizza, and a prize from a treasure chest.
Track your progress with our 500 BBMS kits that include 5 paper logs to track 100 books each, and a game board with stickers.
- Cross off or color in a circle each time you read a book.
- Add a sticker to the game board when you finish stamping 50 circles.
- When you fill all 5 logs with stamps and add 10 stickers to the game board, you reached 500!!
- Come to any YDL location to pick up your prizes.
