Get kids reading with the Summer Challenge Champions program

The Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) is seeking summer camps and summer schools to partner with for our Summer Challenge Champions program (SCC). SCC partners receive a bin of read-aloud books to borrow for the duration of their summer program and reading prizes for their participants. An optional independent reading bin for your reading-age kids is available as well. Your location is also eligible to receive up to three visits by the library with a storyteller.

YDL will provide the structure and tools to get kids reading with a goal of 20 minutes each day. With your help, we can ensure every child has the chance to read and listen to books every day.

Please fill out the below application. Make sure all required fields are filled out. You will see an on-screen confirmation. We will follow-up with you within a few weeks to schedule your visits.
