Create your own magnets using bottle caps and images from photographs, drawings, magazines or books! This super easy DIY craft will help give swag to your fridge, locker or anything else that’s magnetic.

PICK UP SUPPLIES

Fill out our online form to reserve your supplies and schedule pick up from the library. Each kit comes with bottle caps, adhesive magnets, epoxy stickers, a couple design cutouts for use or just inspiration and instructions.

STEP 1

Pick an image–a photograph, magazine, song lyrics or poetry from a book, colorful scrap paper, your own drawing, or one of the images provided!

STEP 2

Trace around your image using your bottle cap.

Then cut and trim your image to fit neatly inside your bottle cap. 

STEP 3

Glue your image down to the front of your bottle cap. Let it dry. 

STEP 4

Add the sticky side of the clear epoxy sticker to the top of your image. 

STEP 5

Add the sticky side of the magnet to the back of your bottle cap.
