Weekly Chess Club

Wednesdays, June 10-August 12, 4:30-5:30pm

Drop in to play at YDL-Whittaker! Grades K-12 welcome.

On Wednesdays after school during the school year from 4:30-5:30pm, Jenny Skidmore Smith offers instruction, puzzles, guidance, and homework to help players learn and hone their skills. Everyone in grades K-12 is welcome, but instruction targets players up to USCF 1500. Drop in and play!

Play at the Library

Ask anytime to use a chess set and practice at the library. It’s one of many games you can play! Or check out a Chess STEM kit that includes a board, clock, and books to help you improve your game.
